As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol in WINDSOR LOCKS , CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both interior and exterior areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols, maintaining accurate and detailed logs.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, and assisting with visitor and/or contractor management as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, Allied Universal team members, and local emergency responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA is required.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
