Job Description
Production Scheduler In this role, you'll create strategic schedules that balance customer demand, inventory goals, and plant capacity-all while supporting on-time delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with capacity and sales forecasts.
- Set inventory targets for finished goods, including safety stock levels.
- Optimize production runs and minimize changeovers to achieve 100% on-time delivery.
- Monitor raw material levels and manage orders to prevent downtime.
- Maintain accurate scheduling data and track performance metrics.
- Identify capacity constraints and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and report on KPIs to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What You Bring - Bachelor's degree preferred with 4+ years of relevant experience
- At least 3 years in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management-preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000
