We’re seeking an experienced hands-on couple to oversee the daily operations and upkeep of a well-maintained all-ages mobile home community in Bishop California. The manager(s) must be active and motivated in order to provide a quality living environment for residents and promote positive resident relations. This is a full-time job for 2 persons.

Administrative Role:

• Interact with residents in a professional, compassionate, and service-oriented manner
• Enforce community rules to ensure a safe, welcoming environment
• Manage resident relations
• Applicant screening and qualifying potential residents
• Creating lease and rules documents, managing and maintaining resident files
• Enforce community standards with diplomacy and fairness
• Proper serving of all rule violation notices and legal notices
• Manage the community through our online software
• Promote positive public relations with prospects, residents, vendors and clients
• Take the necessary steps to ensure both appearance and physical integrity of the property and its assets are in good condition at all times
• Communicate all property issues in a timely manner

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Prior property management and maintenance experience preferred
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, property management software)
• Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to interact effectively with prospects, residents, vendors, and co-workers
• Communication with residents
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check, drug screening
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of Mobile Home Laws

Maintenance Position:

• Oversee and complete day-to-day community maintenance and upkeep on common areas to increase curb appeal
• Work closely with the corporate office and co-workers to complete assigned projects promptly
• Perform hands-on general maintenance of facilities and amenities including landscaping, grass cutting, painting, and minor repairs
• Conduct site inspections and report effectively
• Ability to identify maintenance issues which need to be addressed and areas for park improvement

Requirements

• Ability to pass background check, drug screening
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to work with and understand general plumbing, electric, sewer issues
• General maintenance & landscaping
• Valid driver license
• Must be able to obtain D-1 Water Certification
