Summary: Do you consider yourself a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for providing critical care to our most vulnerable patients? HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston, NY is seeking dedicated and experienced Neonatal APPs (Advanced Practice Providers) to join our team on a per diem basis, offering on-call support for neonatal emergencies. Responsibilities: Strong critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations. Provide expert care and rapid response to neonatal emergencies in the NICU and delivery room. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and manage critically ill neonates. Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and resuscitation. Assess and monitor the health of neonates, making swift decisions to ensure optimal outcomes. Communicate effectively with families, providing compassionate support and clear explanations during critical situations. Qualifications: Candidates must be board certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner and possess an applicable New York State license. Minimum of 5 years of experience in neonatal care or NICU. Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Other: Competitive per diem compensation.
