We are looking for a hands-on, strategic Distribution/Warehouse Operations Manager to lead operations at our 25-person facility in Spartanburg, SC. This role is ideal for an experienced manager who thrives in a smaller, dynamic environment where you can make a direct impact on day-to-day operations and help drive the success of our growing business. You will manage the facility’s distribution and warehouse functions, lead a dedicated team, and ensure high levels of operational efficiency while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of distribution and warehouse operations for the Spartanburg, SC facility, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
• Manage, mentor, and train a small but highly skilled team, including warehouse supervisors and inventory control staff, to meet performance and quality goals.
• Create and manage the annual and quarterly operations budgets, ensuring that financial goals are met while optimizing cost efficiencies.
• Establish performance objectives, key metrics, and benchmarks that align with company goals and support high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the team to foster a positive and productive environment that encourages professional development and continuous improvement.
• Utilize Business Central ERP system (including WMS and office functions) to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and reduce manual workload.
• Ensure proper inventory management, including accuracy in stock levels, efficient picking and packing processes, and timely shipments to customers.
• Develop and implement effective return processes and procedures to minimize operational impact and ensure timely and accurate customer credits.
• Ensure the warehouse maintains high safety standards, is organized, and adheres to regulatory and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure that customer requirements are met and service levels are maintained.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in distribution or warehouse management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in managing inventory, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with Business Central ERP systems (WMS knowledge a plus) or similar inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• A hands-on, “get things done” attitude, with a focus on continuous improvement and driving operational efficiencies.
