Gough Construction Inc. is a family-owned construction company based in Merrillville, Indiana. We specialize in Industrial, Commercial, Institutional, and Site Utility construction. As a growing company, we are seeking a team-oriented Masonry Construction Estimator to join our team and grow with us.

Position Overview

The Masonry Construction Estimator is responsible for Estimating & Bidding of new jobs as well as continued exposure to existing jobs for RFI’s, ASI’s, and COR’s. The ideal candidate will possess strong blueprint reading, analytical planning, project estimating, and masonry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates, proposals, and project budgets
• Perform bid process activities: scope reviews, bid evaluations, and proposal submittals
• Track and report project costs, schedules, and financial performance
• Collaborate with project manager and on-site foreman
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Attend project management, safety, and coordination meetings

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction estimating
• Experience in Industrial, Commercial, Institutional/Healthcare, sectors
• Degree in Construction Management or Construction Estimating experience preferred (not required)
• Proficient with estimating and project management software (Tradesman software but not required)
• Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Drive skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
