Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators Supporting Milling Operations in the Huntsville/ North Alabama operations area, Alabama SMA reporting to the Milling Superintendent. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.

Job Details:
  • Wages start at $24.00hr, starting wage based on experience
  • Fulltime/Permanent
  • Day Shift / Night Shift may be required, depending on the job
  • $3.00hr Night Shift Premium
  • Weekend work may be required
  • Overtime available along with extensive medical and retirement benefits
Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate Asphalt Milling Machine, Skid Steers, Back Hoes, and Broom
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment
  • Setup milling machine per job requirements
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Perform all duties as directed by the Milling Crew Foreman
Qualifications:
  • Rogers Group is seeking Experienced (2 - 3 years) motivated, punctual, and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operators to support Milling Operations with previous paving/construction experience for our Construction Team Huntsville, Alabama.
  • An uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
  • Experience working with road construction in high traffic areas including some experience with MUTCD traffic control.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move heavy objects.
  • Ability to work outdoors which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
  • Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road, site or highway construction and paving.
  • Ability to properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
