Job Description

Company Overview Nestig is a direct-to-consumer brand with a mission to create the most delightful place to shop for children’s spaces. Our brand is synonymous with quality, care, and trust, offering customers a seamless shopping experience and exceptional products for their little ones. Department Overview As a key member of the marketing team, you will report directly to the Co-founder & CMO and collaborate closely with Brand, Growth, Dev, and CX teams. Your role will be essential in shaping and optimizing the customer journey across our ecommerce platform — ensuring every on-site interaction is seamless, inspiring, and conversion-driven. You’ll lead our digital merchandising and optimization efforts, helping us create a best-in-class site experience that brings our brand to life and supports our growth goals. This full-time position will be based out of our NYC office in Flatiron, with no flexibility for remote full-time. What You'll Do Define and lead the ecommerce strategy across site merchandising, UX, and digital performance — ensuring alignment with broader business goals and directly impacting revenue, AOV, and conversion. Lead, mentor, and develop an agile team overseeing site merchandising, content updates, and campaign execution — ensuring day-to-day excellence while aligning team efforts with broader business and brand objectives. Architect and manage the end-to-end customer journey on-site , continuously identifying opportunities to reduce friction, increase engagement, and optimize for conversion at every stage of the funnel. Own the site experience roadmap , balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic investments — with a focus on product discovery, bundling, and upsells that meaningfully impact top-line growth. Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Brand, and CX to translate new product launches into compelling, optimized on-site experiences — ensuring product discovery, merchandising, and PDPs are set up to perform from launch day. Develop and execute a comprehensive testing and experimentation strategy , partnering with Design and Engineering to launch A/B and multivariate tests that drive continual performance improvement. Leverage data to guide decision-making — synthesize insights from Google Analytics, heatmaps, user feedback, and conversion funnels to surface opportunities, inform prioritization, and build business cases for change. Maintain and optimize the site content calendar , aligning cross-functional inputs and proactively managing timelines to ensure smooth execution of campaigns, launches, and seasonal updates. Brief and collaborate with Brand on high-impact assets , ensuring that all site content — from banners to PDPs — is optimized for both storytelling and performance across devices. Serve as the internal subject matter expert on ecommerce trends and best practices , bringing a forward-thinking POV to how we evolve our platform and customer experience. What You’ll Need 7+ years of experience in e-commerce or site merchandising — ideally with a consumer or D2C brand Experience managing and mentoring a team A strong understanding of how storytelling and UX come together to drive sales Experience launching new products and coordinating complex, cross-functional timelines Comfort working with CMS platforms and ecommerce tools (e.g., Shopify, Contentful, Google Analytics, heatmapping tools) A sharp eye for detail and design, with a customer-first mindset A collaborative working style and excellent communication skills Proven ability to manage projects and timelines across teams Ability to embody and exercise Nestig's Core Values in all facets of the business Legal authorization to work in the USA Why You’ll Love Working Here!
