About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its specialty hospitals, which provide a high level of care for patients with chronic, critically ill, and medically complex conditions. The CEO will be responsible for the strategic planning, management, and overall operations of the hospital, ensuring the delivery of quality, economical healthcare services. This role involves direct day-to-day management, leadership to meet strategic objectives, and the enforcement of organization-wide policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be tasked with budget development and management, as well as short-range and long-range planning to maintain a financially sound organization. Candidates for the CEO position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 5 years of senior-level experience in healthcare administration, particularly in a hospital setting. Essential functions include budget approval, staff management, performance reviews, and the development of strategic and operational plans. The CEO will also be involved in marketing, and must have a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, budgeting, and management skills. The role requires the ability to work effectively with multi-site management teams, and a background in sales, marketing, or public relations is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a commitment to the principles of service excellence and a focus on the recovery and well-being of patients.
