AWESOME Behavior Technicians to bring their energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to our one-on-one ABA therapy sessions with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
Youll be part of a supportive team (hello, BCBAs and BAAs!) thats all about making a real difference one skill, one smile, one success at a time.
What You'll Be Doing: - Dive into hands-on training in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)training... weve got you covered!
- Deliver fun, meaningful ABA therapy in homes, schools, and out in the community. - There will be some play too!!
- Team up with BCBAs and BAAs to bring each clients custom treatment plan to life.
- Be open to feedback and grow your skills like a pro.
- Collect data like a behavior detective and tweak strategies as needed.
- Help clients build communication, social, and daily living skillswith plenty of encouragement along the way.
- Support and cheer on parents and caregivers too!
What You Bring: - A high school diploma (bonus points if you have a bachelors!).
- Already an RBT? Amazing! Not yet? No worries. Wanna give it a shot? We got you covered!!
- Already been through a 40 hour training and have 1+ years experience?? We'll fast track you through the process and get you working!!
- Great communication skills and a team-player vibe.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities? Thats a plus!
Compensation & Benefits: - $22$25 per hour .
- In-between travel and mileage paid
- Paid training
- If you maintain full time hours, can qualify for medical, dental, and so forth
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lives Beachmont Behavioral Healths values, mission, and vision.
- Prioritizes trauma assumed care.
- Implements behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collects and records data during sessions accurately and promptly.
- Provides clear and respectful communication with caregivers, clients, and supervisory staff.
- Participates in training, supervision meetings, and performance feedback sessions.
- Maintains professional boundaries and confidentiality per HIPAA and company policy.
- Supports the safety and dignity of each client throughout service delivery.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not supervise others. Participation in regular team meetings and receive 1:1 supervision is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED required; associates or bachelors degree in related field is preferred
- Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check and TB test
- THIS IS HUGE!! Be available 230-830 PM M-F ...and if you are available Saturdays 9am - 1pm, that would AWESOME!!
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience with children or individuals with disabilities preferred
- Experience with ABA services preferred but not required
EDUCATION:
- Some college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- BA Degree would be a HUGE plus!!!
