Position Overview

SoxTV is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented candidate to oversee two video coordinators, produce content and project manage the video production workload. An ideal candidate can manage internal deliverables, external production, freelancers, act as a producer on projects, brainstorm and execute ideas and shoot and edit video. A candidate for this role will work on a variety of media projects for different stakeholders including but not limited to the internal social media team, marketing, corporate partnerships, White Sox Charities and public relations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal departments to project manage workflow and outputs; delivering content for marketing, ticket sales, community relations, and corporate partnerships initiatives
  • Manage two video coordinators through leadership, support and skill development
  • Brainstorm, create, produce and manage the delivery of quality content that stands out on all @whitesox platforms
  • Act as producer for video projects, filling in the gaps and providing updates to all involved
  • Serve as point of contact for outside freelancers/production, standardize production procedures, and coordinate revisions, final delivery and payment
  • Shoot and edit high-quality short and long-form digital content such as in-game highlights, polished hype reels, game recaps, documentary-style feature stories, commercial spots, sponsored series and more
  • Form pre-production plans for a variety of shoots in a variety of settings
  • Meet with internal departments on project needs and provide regular updates
  • Deliver projects on tight deadlines
  • Work with digital and communications leaders to adapt and meet organizational KPIs
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • College degree in production, communications, new media or related field
  • Minimum three years of professional experience working in video production
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Demonstrated experience in producing social media-friendly content
  • Proactive, great attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to ideate creative content and oversee projects from concept to delivery
  • Provide and receive constructive feedback
  • Aware of current social media and editing trends in the sports and entertainment world
  • Have a desire to learn and try new techniques
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
  • Phenomenal teammate who enjoys working in a collaborative space
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as baseball schedule demands
  • Experience in Asana or similar project management platform
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
Compensation:
  • $80,000 - $83,000
