As a Unarmed Security Officer - Retail Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment for all visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with guests and staff to provide excellent customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with location management and/or law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Assist visitors and employees with general inquiries and provide directions as needed within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
