RN-EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

DESCRIPTION:

Education and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Acute care registered nurse experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments.

Licensure and Certification

• Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Healthcare Provider (HCP) level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or equivalent).

Skills and Competencies

• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Effective critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Crisis management skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate care to patients across the age continuum.
• Proficiency with department-specific equipment and technology.
