Why Consider This Role:
The role of a trauma therapist is perfect for the experienced clinician who focuses on the struggles of PTSD, first responders, veterans, and survivors of abuse/trauma. The therapist will be expected to perform individual, couples or family therapy, including conducting diagnostic assessments to formulate DSM 5 diagnoses and complete treatment plans to support therapeutic interventions. The candidate must have experience working with individuals in 1:1 traditional sessions, and have utilized clinical interventions and diagnostic skills in their current or previous work experience. Preference given to those with EMDR experience, CCTP certification, brain-spotting experience, somatic experience, or Internal Family Systems experience.

Compensation:
- This is a fee for service role, where therapists earn a
percentage of collected session revenue.
Master's level and pre-licensed clinicians may earn between 40-49%
which typically equals $50-61 per session, while fully licensed clinicians may earn 50%+ which typically equals $63+ per session, depending on insurance or private pay rates.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Current State of Illinois license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LPC, LSW, or AMFT
- Willing to work weekends and evenings (1 of each required per week)
- Prior private practice experience is a plus but not required
- Proficient computer skills
- Organized, professional, conscientious, timely and responsible.
License/ Certifications:
- LPC, LCPC, AMFT, LMFT, LSW, LCSW, PhD, PsyD, MA or MEd (Required)
- EMDR, CCTP, Brain-Spotting or IFS (Preferred)
