Job Title: Flexible Tax Consultant Job

Duration: Ongoing (part-time/full-time based on season)

Schedule:

• Slow Season: 20–25 hours/week
• Busy Season: 40–60 hours/week

Our client is seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to support their tax team in managing compliance, partner reporting, and complex tax filings. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax workpapers and forms for U.S. federal, state, and international compliance.
• Review estimated and final Schedules K-1 and K-3 for partner reporting.
• Manage the annual tax compliance process, including review of all partnership and corporate filings.
• Oversee U.S. international information reporting returns.
• Create and maintain Excel models to support tax calculations and analysis.
• Review federal and state returns with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze and understand partnership waterfalls and allocations.
• Handle preparation and review of K-1s and related returns.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance.
• Experience with partnership and corporate tax filings.
• Proficiency in Excel for tax modeling and reporting.
• Solid understanding of tax waterfalls, allocations, and partner reporting.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and review skills.
• Ability to manage workload effectively across busy and slow seasons.
