As a Tax Consultant at H&R Block, you’ll receive robust training and be supported by an expert team. Enjoy a flexible schedule that nurtures your personal goals while also allowing for additional earnings.

• Engage with clients through in-person meetings or virtual channels including video, phone, chat, and email.
• Accurately prepare complete tax returns.
• Contribute to business growth and client retention by promoting additional products and services.
• Assist clients with IRS inquiries and support.
• Collaborate with your team to support office objectives.
• Develop your tax expertise continually.

• A degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience in customer service or retail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for 25-35 hours a week during tax season, with the possibility of up to 40 hours during peak weeks.

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort with virtual communication tools such as video, phone, and chat.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Compliance with all IRS and relevant state regulations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

The salary range for this position is $11.00 - $27.00 per hour. Pay decisions may consider factors such as experience, education, skills, performance, and geographic location.
