As a Staff Content Designer on our Fashion team, you’ll help connect buyers and sellers of luxury items like watches, jewelry, sneakers, streetwear and more. You’ll collaborate on the design of simple, functional and accessible experiences that also foster a sense of delight, discovery and achievement. You’ll lead the end-to-end product content strategy for buying and selling experiences, from resale and authentication to live shopping and AI-powered recommendations. You’ll work closely with product design, user research, product management, brand, marketing and engineering to successfully go from early-stage product concepts to launch.
As a full-stack staff content designer, you believe writing is designing. You see language as a design material and you get others to think the same. You understand how to work in tandem with our product design team to solve complicated problems with deceptively simple words and how to work within an established content design system. You also enjoy working with cross-discipline partners to define the margins, strategies and outcomes in ambiguous spaces.
Responsibilities - Develop content strategies and frameworks to drive customer adoption, engagement and retention
- Lead the content design process from discovery and ideation to the final fit and finish of full-fidelity designs
- Use the Double Diamond process to design, test and iterate on user flows in close collaboration with product, design and user research partners
- Drive a cohesive product narrative and end-to-end consistency in partnership with marketing and customer support teams
- Collaborate closely with the Localization team to ensure the English source content will scale to other markets in which eBay operates
Requirements - 8+ years professional experience in content-focused roles with 5+ of those years on in-product UX content
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, journalism, communications, marketing, human-centered interaction or a related field
- A portfolio of work demonstrating human-centered design thinking and solutions
- Experience leading or co-leading the design process, from early concept to launch
- Experience developing a product content strategy for web and mobile, including designing for accessibility and inclusivity
- Management of multiple projects in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

We are looking for an experienced Senior Blockchain Engineer to join the team and help us define, deliver and realize our vision for the KnownOrigin / eBay NFT protocol. You will have the ability to work across teams and lead an internal Web3 community.
What You’ll Be Working On - Working closely with the wider Product and Engineering teams to flesh out and deliver a feature rich and extensive set of Solidity smart contracts for use on the platform
- Integration of the smart contract suite into various parts of the application stack
- Helping upskill less experienced members of the team in how to build and integrate complex smart contract systems
You will need to have - Experience in building and supporting different types of Smart contract standards including ERC721, ERC721(A), ERC1155, EIP-2981, ERC20, ERC173, ERC712, EIP1271
- Experience in understanding the various forms of smart contract upgradability patterns and when to use them, along with trade-offs
- Experience in integration of smart contracts into various applications including web applications, API services and indexers
- Proficient and professional production experience in building and deploying Solidity based Smart Contracts on EVM based blockchains
- Extensive Node.js and TypeScript experience
- A comprehensive understanding of test driven development
- Awareness of common smart contract security flaws and hacks
- An understanding of basic cryptography techniques and patterns
Nice To Have - Rust programming language
- Subgraph hosted or decentralised network development and deployment
- Understanding and or delivery products that leverage modern forms of Account Abstraction
- IPFS / Arweave or other Decentralised file storage solutions
- Foundry, Hardhat or Truffle suite
- Solidity testing frameworks
- Solidity libraries such as OpenZeppelin
- Open source order books such as SeaPort
