Job Description
PDQ Staffing is currently seeking for a sit-down forklift operator in the Haltom City area, that is willing to work in a manufacturing environment. This position requires ongoing loading and unloading containers, wrapping pallets amongst other general labor duties.
As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts to move materials within warehouses and distribution centers. You will contribute to the efficiency of operations by handling materials with precision and care.
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Location: Haltom City, TX 76117
Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM to 4:00AM with possible overtime on Friday & Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Perform equipment inspections and maintenance.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks.
- Handle heavy lifting and materials handling.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Support distribution center activities efficiently.
Experience:
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Proficiency in lift truck and reach truck operation.
- Knowledge of mechanical aspects related to forklifts.
- Familiarity with equipment repair and maintenance.
- Experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is a plus.
