Job Description

As a Security Professional - Financial Patrol in Hartford, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to outstanding customer service and clear communication will contribute to a positive experience for all. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the financial institution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to assist in maintaining a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or potential security-related issues to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and guidance as appropriate.
• Support the enforcement of access control procedures and other site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
