As a Security Officer – Hospital Badge Patrol in Monroeville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel and/or management.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification, and following visitor management procedures as required.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and/or evacuations, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related issues encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Vaccination is required for this hospital position.
  • Applicants must be able to work in a hospital morgue setting.
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
