POSITION SUMMARY

As a Sales Associate at Nickey Kehoe, you will greet and assist clients with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional hospitality experience in line with the Nickey Kehoe mission. You will encourage client engagement with our merchandise by offering outstanding customer service, always sharing the stories behind our makers and artists, as well as providing insights into our NK Collection.

In addition, you will quickly respond to client inquiries via email and support the sales process using our POS system. You will also assist with order processing and tracking as required. The Sales Associate is service-oriented, adaptable, courteous, and conscientious in their work, providing a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Support managers and sales associates/coverage of sales floor
• Assist with sales/customer interaction
• Restock merchandise as necessary
• Help with packaging/gift wrapping of customer purchases
• Organization of back stock
• Replenish packaging supplies
• General showroom maintenance
• Packaging, logging and receiving customer memos and product for photoshoots
• Work closely with back of house to ensure stock is organized and showroom is fully stocked
• Create sample boxes
• Organize, label and ship fabric, finish and wallpaper samples
• Enter customer sample orders into Storis
• Assist Trade and Web clients with in-store pick ups
• Provide measurements and information to Trade team (LA/NY)
• Assist with general email inquiries
• Other duties as required by your manager. 

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY ATTRIBUTES:

• High end customer service experience
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Graceful under pressure
• Amazing ability to multitask and prioritize
• Helpful energy and highly self-motivated
• Flexibility to maneuver through various departments
• Familiarity with PC platforms and strong basic computer skills
• Comfortable with dynamic environments and assisting in visual merchandising, packaging / handling product and activity-based services
