Job Description

Summary

The primary duty of the Sales Assistant is to provide support to Brokers on the

day-to-day business activities and perform a variety of administrative functions. This position will be 5 days on-site at our HQ.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Manage the mailings of sales and charter magazine “Horizons”
  • Support brokers in their daily tasks
  • Prepare presentations, listing agreements, contracts and agreements
  • Assist with marketing efforts including (but not limited to) events, partner networks and campaigns
  • Assist with Boat Show preparation and work IYC Boat shows
  • Create Central Listing Proposals
  • Enter and maintain listings across various MLS platforms

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various boat show duties leading up to, during and after the boat show
  • Provide cross-functional training and support when needed
  • Contribute to company and department tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience preferably dealing with high profile clients
  • Marine industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours (some evenings and weekends as required)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, decision-making skills
  • Must be a team player and take initiative
  • Strong verbal and written abilities
  • Must be reliable and maintain professional appearance
  • Bi-lingual is not required however would be helpful
