Job Summary:
Joy Cleaners is seeking a customer service-oriented Dry Cleaning Attendant to assist customers with drop-off and pick-up services while also taking basic tailoring measurements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide a seamless customer experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with customers and has a basic understanding of garment measurements for tailoring needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist with drop-offs and pick-ups.
Tag and record customer items accurately for tracking.
Handle payments and maintain transaction records.
Answer customer inquiries about services, pricing, and turnaround times.
Take basic tailoring measurements (e.g., hemming, sleeve length, waist adjustments) for alterations.
Ensure all garments are processed correctly and returned on time.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
Communicate with the cleaning and tailoring facility to track orders and resolve issues.
Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in customer service, retail, or dry cleaning preferred.
Basic knowledge of tailoring measurements (training can be provided).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Basic computer skills for order entry and tracking.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position: (Mon, Tue, Fri - 7AM to 6PM, Sat - 8AM to 4PM)
