Job Overview:Well-established national commercial real estate company is seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee operations of a multi-state portfolio of retail shopping centers, including direct management of onsite property managers. Candidate must be a self-starter and is preferred to have at least ten years experience in commercial property management, including a focus on retail shopping centers with a strong knowledge of all aspects of managing commercial properties, including tenant relations, operating budgets, monthly reporting, maintenance & vendor oversight, tenant improvement and construction for capital projects. Position will be based in Lamars suburban New Jersey office with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement. Travel to properties is required. Compensation will be competitive, including salary, benefits, and an opportunity for bonus.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations and financial performance of a portfolio of commercial propertiesSupervise and support on-site property managers and third-party vendorsOversee, Develop, and manage property budgets, forecasts, and capital plansEnsure timely reporting, including variance reports and operational updatesConduct regular property inspectionsOversee property maintenance and capital projectsEnsure lease compliance and manage tenant relationsWork closely with asset management and accounting teams to meet investment goalsAssist with due diligence and onboarding for new acquisitionsIdentify opportunities for revenue growth and expense optimizationTraining of on-site Property ManagersQualifications:10+ years of experience in commercial property management, with multi-site oversightStrong knowledge of lease administration, tenant relations, operating budgets, recoveries and recharges, reporting, financial and otherwise, maintenance, contracts, contractor management, tenant improvements, and capital projects is requiredProven leadership and team management skillsFamiliarity with real estate accounting software and systemsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to travel regularly and a Valid drivers license.
