The instructor will play a crucial role in preparing senior high school students to work under the supervision of registered pharmacists in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive and engaging classes on pharmacy technician practices, regulations, and responsibilities tailored for senior high school students.
• Instruct students on drug classifications, dosage calculations, and pharmaceutical terminology.
• Provide hands-on training in simulated pharmacy environments.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, new drugs, and changes in regulations to ensure current and relevant instruction.
• Foster a positive and interactive learning environment for senior high school students.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a certified pharmacy technician.
• Demonstrated experience in instructing or training pharmacy technicians.
• In-depth knowledge of drug classifications, dosage calculations, and pharmaceutical terminology.
• Familiarity with the national shortage of registered pharmacists and the role of pharmacy technicians in meeting healthcare demands.
• Commitment to staying informed about updates and changes in pharmacy regulations and practices.
• Familiarity with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and its certification processes.
