Job Description

Simply Good Foods is seeking a Packaging Engineering Manager to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in the packaging design and innovation process. This individual will be focused on driving projects forward based on business objectives and aligned with vendor capabilities and is critical to the overall success of new products and line extensions.

Some qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in packaging, mechanical or chemical engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in the food and beverage manufacturing space, with a focus on packaging.
• Experience mentoring and leading others, both directly and indirectly.
• Project management skills are a must. Driving deadlines and ensuring that cross-functional partners in regulatory, product development, and marketing are aligned on strategy and timeline.
• Self-driven with an ability to thrive in unstructured environments. Must be a critical thinker and able to problem solve independently, as well as be proactive in soliciting advice from cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Some travel may be required for testing and scale-up. This is an onsite role, based in Broomfield, CO.
