Next Generation Pastor – Christ Culture Church – Cleveland Heights, OH Christ Culture Church is a thriving, life-giving Spirit-filled church in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. We exist to help people grow in Christ. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Next Generation Pastor who is a strong team developer and leader to take our Next Gen ministries to the next level. About the Role The Next Generation Pastor will lead and oversee Culture Kids Church (0-5th grade) and Culture Youth (6th-12th grade) while developing and empowering our Next Generation Lead Team (4 leaders) and 35+ volunteers to disciple the next generation effectively. This role is not about doing ministry alone but about building, equipping, and unleashing a team to impact the next generation for Christ. Key Responsibilities Leadership Development: Recruit, train, and empower the existing Next Generation Lead Team and volunteers to lead effectively and take ownership of their ministries. Vision & Strategy: Work closely with the Lead Pastor and Next Gen Lead Team to develop a discipleship strategy that raises up leaders and fosters spiritual growth for children, students, and families. Team Culture & Growth: Cultivate a culture of collaboration, coaching, and continuous development for volunteers and leaders. Parent Partnership: Equip parents/guardians with tools and resources to disciple their children at home. Programming & Events: Oversee and provide direction for weekly Sunday gatherings, midweek student ministry (as needed), leadership trainings, camps, retreats, and outreach efforts. Safe & Engaging Environments: Ensure all Next Gen ministries prioritize safety, fun, and spiritual engagement. Spiritual Leadership: Foster a ministry culture that prioritizes the presence of God, worship, generosity, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Collaboration & Integration: Align Next Gen ministries with the overall discipleship pathway of Christ Culture Church and integrate them into the larger church mission. Community Engagement: Mobilize the next generation for mission work through local outreach and service projects. What We’re Looking For A strong leader and team developer who knows how to build, empower, and release leaders into ministry. A deep love for children, students, and families with a passion for discipleship and leadership development. Experience leading a growing Next Gen ministry and developing teams of leaders to take ownership of ministry. A self-starter with excellent leadership, administrative, and relational skills. A biblically grounded leader who aligns with Christ Culture Church’s beliefs and core values. Ability to effectively communicate, teach, and lead in a Spirit-filled and engaging way.
