Overview of the Company Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full-power broadcast television stations in the U.S., including stations in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas (DMAs) and duopolies in 11 DMAs, such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Eighteen of these stations are affiliated with the FOX Network. The stations produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news weekly, distributing sports, entertainment, and syndicated content. Job Description Responsibilities include writing stories and teases, editing video, creating graphics and supers for newscasts, FOX4news.com, social channels, and news partners. The role involves working closely with Producers to develop and format newscasts, communicating with Reporters, Photographers, the Assignment Desk, Managers, and external sources about story developments. Candidates must be able to write stories and post videos on social media, facilitate communication during live broadcasts, and adapt to changes quickly. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field. 2-3 years’ experience as a TV Newscast Associate Producer in a small to major market. Ability to work under tight deadlines and communicate clearly. Strong writing skills. Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in media. Proficiency with digital and web-based newsgathering tools, newsroom video systems, editing, and graphics software. We are an equal opportunity employer.
