, is seeking a Janitor to support
KOS and our government customer in Denver Federal Center Lakewood, CO.
This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a union position currently paying $20.25 an hr. All benefits are through the CBA.
Our custodial staff is responsible for keeping an office building clean and orderly. Job duties may include but are not limited to: - Cleaning of entrances, lobbies, corridors, offices, conference rooms, work areas, floor surfaces, restrooms, locker rooms, shower stalls, water fountains, utility sinks, etc.
- Maintain the appearance of exterior grounds, parking lots, loading docks, and sidewalks
- Emptying wastebaskets/ and trash receptacles
- Dusting of high and low surfaces, including overhead lights and pictures, and using cleaning products to clean or polish soiled surfaces
- Vacuuming carpets and light spot removal duties
- Washing windows and glass cleaning
- May have to perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, and washing walls
Requirements: - Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- 0-2 years' experience preferred.
- Work well with our cooperative and motivated cleaning staff
- Follow detailed cleaning instructions and learn troubleshooting skills
- Capable of performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, and washing walls
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with coworkers and supervisors.
- Capable of working with a team or independently to achieve departmental goals, including multitasking skills
- Must be available for occasional weekend work.
- Full-time Night shift available
- Part-time night shifts available
- Must be dependable, hardworking, conscientious, and cooperative.
- Able to obtain a Public Trust
