The Health Promoter works on the Participant Engagement team in the New York area, with the goal of expanding the work our organization is currently doing in that area and in other markets. This is a field (office, worksites) heavy position with approx. 4 days per week field as well as (mostly) local travel for events.
The Health Promoter will be involved at the member level, where our organization prides itself on being personally connected to the worksites and members we serve. Our Health Promoter team will do outreach, working closely with the union employees to educate them about available benefits, and helping them recognize opportunities within those benefits to serve themselves and their dependents’ medical needs. The Health Promoter team will primarily do this by recruiting volunteer leaders called Health Ambassadors. The team, in conjunction with the Ambassadors, encourages and empowers the members to become active in their healthcare and become their own health advocates.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Salary range for this position: Salary $63,800 - $79,800. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday~Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) as a field heavy, hybrid position.
