About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Strategy to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of women's tennis. This key position involves leading the development and execution of long-term strategic initiatives, guiding the company's direction, and ensuring the alignment of business priorities across all functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving high-impact, long-term initiatives that support growth, innovation, and competitive advantage. Essential duties include strategic and project management, delivery of strategic market and performance analysis, monitoring industry trends, and engaging with the board to prepare materials and presentations. The role also requires the ability to lead strategic planning, set long-term goals, and prepare investment cases to secure funding and approvals. Candidates for the Head of Strategy role at the company should have 8-10 years' of experience, with a background in strategy consulting and additional experience in a business undergoing growth or change. Experience in the media and/or sports sector, particularly with exposure to production and media rights, is essential. The role demands excellent PowerPoint and Excel modeling skills, a strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and a proven track record in executing deals and structuring commercial agreements. Exceptional communication skills and experience in engaging with senior stakeholders, including board members, are also required. The ideal candidate will be highly resourceful, adaptable, and possess a passion for the values of the organization, which include being progressive, collaborative, passionate, and demonstrating integrity.
