Join Beauty 21 Cosmetics, Inc. (home of L.A. COLORS/L.A. Girl) as a Graphic Designer and immerse yourself in the captivating world of beauty and social media. You will support the Creative/Marketing team with the design in all internal branding collateral, cosmetics packaging, print advertising materials and designing/maintaining assets for use on social media and websites.

The Graphic Designer at Beauty 21 develops and implements creative, innovative, and attractive graphic design concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.
• Maintain visual consistency across all print materials.
• Elevate the quality of print design ensuring design reflects creative excellence.
• Develop print-ready files.
• Create visually appealing and on-brand materials leveraging understanding of the cosmetics and beauty industry.
• Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to ensure seamless integration of graphic elements.
• Collaborate closely with product development team, and cross-functional departments, providing a graphic designer's perspective on ideas, concepts, and design elements to establish a cohesive visual identity.
• Stay abreast of current beauty trends and makeup styles to ensure designs resonate with the audience.
• Maintain organized calendars and timelines to ensure timely delivery of graphically enriched print materials.
• Organize files for projects meticulously for easy retrieval, reference, and sharing. (original wording feels like a duplicate of the 5th bullet above – suggest edit to make different)
• Design layout of art or product exhibits, displays, or promotional materials for production.
• Manage multiple projects and be able to prioritize to meet quick deadlines.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned/needed.

Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:

· AA or BFA in Graphic Design or related field.

OR

• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field

Minimum Experience required:

At least 3+ years’ experience as a web/graphic designer in all design related programs on MAC platform in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Skills Required:

· Experience in makeup, fashion, and beauty industry.

· Ability to keep up to date with current trends in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to take and give creative direction.

· Self-motivated and highly organized and detailed oriented.

· Ability to work independently.

· A team player works with the marketing, sales and product development departments. (work with direct & indirect team members)

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Design software and tools; Adobe Creative Suite (, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), AI (ChatGPT, etc.) Microsoft Office Suite, and other graphic design software.
• Knowledge of licensing and branding.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work.

· Strong understanding of market trends in beauty.

· Website design and social media experience.

· Demonstrated skill in packaging, print and digital design.

• Detail, color, composition, and typography experience.
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
