Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings forGeneral Laborers in the Mining Operations Department at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan.
Summary of Responsibilities:
+ Operate heavy equipment such as Front End Loader, Bulldozer, Production Truck, and Grader
+ Tend to crusher and conveyor systems
+ Perform general laborer duties such as shoveling and cleaning
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
+ Excellent safety record and genuine concern for safety in the workplace
+ Excellent attendance record
+ Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
+ Must be willing to work 12 hour shifts
+ Must be flexible with work assignments; will assist other departments as needed and required
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
