Our practice is a busy, patient-focused primary care practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Office Medical Receptionist to join our team and help create a welcoming environment for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner

• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries

• Schedule and confirm appointments

• Verify insurance and obtain necessary authorizations

• Collect copays and manage patient check-in and check-out

• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information

• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

• Process faxes, emails, and electronic communications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or similar setting

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans a plus
