We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our vibrant team. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals who have a passion for event planning and are eager to learn the ins and outs of the industry. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced event coordinators and managers to support various aspects of event execution and logistics.

Job: On site
Location: Birmingham, AL
Pay Range: $900 - $1250 per week
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of various events including corporate meetings, trade shows, and weddings.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure services needed for events.
• Manage guest lists, registrations, and communications to ensure smooth event processes.
• Help set up event spaces, arrange decor, and prepare materials needed on-site.
• Assist with the breakdown of events and return of rental equipment after the event concludes.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and vendors.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as events may require.
