Compensation

$39.19 - 46.10 hr

Rate of pay dependent no competency, experience, qualifications and skills

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and on the spot repairs of general plant electrical equipment (up to 480 volts) in a safe and efficient manner. We are one team. As such, we require flexibility in job duties. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Have electrical background to include general knowledge of power distribution equipment, motors and variable speed drives - Preferred
• Demonstrate solid working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits - Preferred
• Successfully pass basic electrical test - Required
• Must possess knowledge of NEC and OSHA regulations - Preferred
• High school diploma or GED - Required
• Must have own tools - Required
• Ability to work in a safe manner in all types of conditions and circumstances - Required
• Must be able to work any assigned shifts as needed, day or night - Required
• Actively demonstrate and participate in plant safety programs - Required
• Sitting, standing, walking, lifting and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must successfully pass a post offer pre-employment drug screen and physical - Required

Work Schedule

4 day work week (standard). Rotation to night shift every 8 weeks. Overtime-weekend-holiday work possible.
