• Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm, partially remote 1-2 days per week

• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Salary: $18.75 - $25.13 per hour

Position will travel between the Ascension Heart Center and Naab Heart Center locations

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic electrocardiograms (EKGs).

• Attach, connect, and operate electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electrocardiograph machine.
• Review patient's record and instructs patients prior to procedures. Monitor patient during procedure and report any abnormal findings.
• Identify and correct for artifacts. Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
• Maintain EKG equipment and supplies.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

EKG/Monitoring Tech experience preferred
