JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Compression / Injection Molding Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating compression and/or injection molding machines, inspecting the produced parts for defects, and maintaining and troubleshooting the machinery as necessary. Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience in an industrial setting and is familiar with the safety procedures and quality control standards related to compression and/or injection molding.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Setting up and operating compression and/or injection molding machines in accordance with the production schedule.
• Inspecting the produced parts for quality and conformity with the specifications.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting the compression and/or injection molding machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Documenting the production and inspection results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the material handling and preparation as required.
• Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations within the plant.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or manager.
• May include other duties as assigned and/or special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Compression and/or Injection Molding Operator or a similar role in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of injection molding machinery.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality control.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Willingness to work in shifts and during weekends if necessary.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Plant setting. The role involves physical work and may require lifting heavy items or standing for extended periods.
• Adheres to established safety practices, environmental management, and quality systems requirements.

• FULL-TIME
