Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team part-time, possibly moving into a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including but not limited to dump trucks, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and flatbeds. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and customer service.


Duties:
  • Operate 53' tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, tankers, possible hazmat (if certified)
  • Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered on Roadvision and Samsara
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while following all traffic regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, maintenance, and operational procedures.

Requirements:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being driven.
  • Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with various truck types such as tractor-trailer, refrigerated, tankers, and flatbeds.
  • Ability to load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy, as well as NTCI requirements
