About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in banking, credit unions, or a directly related industry. The CFO will be tasked with overseeing the finance, accounting, and tax functions, and will have direct control of financial controls, reporting, analysis, and modeling. This executive leadership role requires the CFO to provide strategic financial leadership, develop and implement fiscal guidelines, and manage the organization's financial performance. The successful candidate will be a key member of the executive planning team, responsible for the financial health and growth of the institution. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and hold a CPA. A background in banking and prior executive leadership experience is essential. The role demands a professional with expertise in financial reporting, and experience in public accounting, and an MBA is preferred. The CFO will be expected to lead the financial strategy, monitor economic forecasts, and stay abreast of interest rates to minimize risk. Responsibilities also include managing the investment portfolio, preparing various financial reports, and supervising the accounting staff.
