About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to take on a pivotal role in overseeing the financial performance of its US business. The successful candidate will be tasked with a wide range of key responsibilities, including but not limited to, developing and executing the company's financial strategy, advising on long-term financial planning, and ensuring all financial reporting is in compliance with relevant standards. The CFO will also be instrumental in leading the annual budgeting process, monitoring performance, and making necessary recommendations for adjustments. In addition to the strategic and compliance aspects of the role, the CFO will be expected to manage various financial matters such as capital improvement planning, debt management, economic development, and grants management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and reporting, be adept at delivering actionable insights, and have a proven track record in managing liquidity, banking relationships, and cash flow strategies. The role also involves leading financial system improvements, mentoring finance personnel, and fostering a culture of performance and accountability within the team. The CFO will be the key point of contact for financial matters with the Board and will support investor relations.
