About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer to lead its mission-driven organization. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a strong commitment to community-driven impacts and systemic change. This role requires a strategic thinker who can create inclusive opportunities and is dedicated to building a customer-focused organization that provides capital to those in need. The CEO will be responsible for developing and executing a realistic and achievable strategy, resetting the organization's culture and equity, and improving community and customer engagement. Essential skills include senior leadership experience, strategic vision, emotional intelligence, exceptional business and financial acumen, and a proven track record in diversity, equity, and inclusion. The successful CEO will inherit a strong balance sheet and lead a large, passionate team. Key priorities for the position include talent development, leadership structure, and team building, as well as improving operational systems for greater efficiency. The candidate should have a background in CDFI, community development, or a related field, with a preference for experience within the C-Suite of a CDFI. The role demands a leader who is adept at managing change, fostering a culture of inclusivity, and is a strong yet collaborative decision-maker. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors and must be an effective communicator and relationship builder, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
