About the location

The Role

As the Bar Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day?to?day management of our 14?Thirty Five Bar. This includes ensuring safety standards are met, overseeing staff, maintaining equipment, managing schedules, and developing engaging recreational activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for customer service and recreational management.

Responsibilities


  • Assist in overseeing daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Supervise and support front?of?house and back?of?house staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to maintain high levels of productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and control costs to maximize profitability.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure a positive guest's experience.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our guests.
  • Plan, organize, and lead recreational programs, events, and activities for guests or residents.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage) to ensure a seamless guest experience.


Preferred Qualifications And Skills
  • Proven experience as a bar assistant manager or similar role in hospitality environment.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
