You will build profitable locations with your business and management skills, ambition and competitive spirit. **What you'll do:** + Lead multiple branch sales and operations activities, including fleet management + Ensure outstanding customer service, productivity and profitability + Responsible for market share penetration + Hire, build and motivate a great team, including performance management, training, development and recognition + Provide P&L oversight of all of branches within the metro market and prepare monthly operation reviews, yearly budgets and more + Monitor location and function performance using available tools + Develop a strong safety culture and oversee audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations and drug and alcohol testing **Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience + 8-10 years of successful business management experience with oversight of multiple units, with profit and loss responsibility + 5+ years of supervisory experience and proven sales and customer service success + Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office + Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills + Strong presentation skills, ability to present to all levels in the company + Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on negotiating, collaborating and conflict resolution. + Strong analytical skills; metrics oriented + Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures. **_Why join us?_** We don't just "talk the talk!"
