What You’ll Do...

This position is located in Houston, TX. Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles. The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time onsite internships. The summer 2026 internship is expected to begin on May 17, 2026.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Gain on-the-job experience and contribute to real world projects in areas including: External Reporting, Global Operations Accounting, Supply Chain Finance, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning/Analysis, Product Service Line Accounting, Financial Systems, Tax Accounting, and Risk Management as well as other areas.

• Gain a broad-based understanding of our business, learn our organization and systems, establish a professional network within one of the leading global oil field service companies, have exposure and discussions with senior executives, and experience a variety of social events and facility tours. Additionally, upon successful completion of the internship and pending an offer for full time employment, you will have the opportunity to participate in the Finance & Accounting Rotational program. In this 6 week program you will work in 4 different accounting/finance departments, getting on the job training, experience and exposure, prior to making a decision on full-time placement into a specific department.

Required Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future; Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

• Planning to pursue a master's degree in accounting to allow for accreditation
• Displays integrity, initiative, leadership, planning, analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective communicator
• Works well as part of team while also being a strong individual contributor
• Motivated individual who has career aspirations of working within industry for a leading global oilfield service company

Relocation

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. To qualify, your university and/or permanent address must be more than 50 miles from your work location.

• Corporate housing provided for the summer to those candidates who qualify.
• Relocation assistance.

Salary Range: $26/hour
